Iconic Builders renovated a CHAP commercial property for a local investor.

Iconic partnered with a local real estate investor who planned to transform his vacant commercial historic building into a multi-unit commercial leasing property. With a preset four month timeline and a collaborative partnership with the client, Iconic set out to carefully demolish and completely restore the interior while keeping certain requirements for the Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation (CHAP) tax credit, installing a new circulatory staircase, replacing the deteriorating roof and installing all new HVAC work in preparation for three separate, future tenants. Iconic upgraded all plumbing lines, exposed the historic brick walls, installed high-end millwork and trim, installed historically-accurate ceramic tile flooring and kitchenettes in each unit.
