The Iconic team partner with the local real estate investment group, Jabber Five, to renovate this historic commercial building into a multi-unit commercial property. With the goal of transforming this previously vacant building into a CHAP approved masterpiece, the Iconic team consulted with city officials and hit the ground running.

Project Description

With a four month timeline in place, Iconic Builders demolished the interior while carefully keeping certain requirements needed for the Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation (CHAP) tax credit. Together, the team and the client designed a space where a new spiral staircase would connect the elevations, replaced the deteriorating roof and installed an all new HVAC system across three floors. The team maintained the historic ceiling and roofline in the three floors. The team upgraded all plumbing lines, exposed and restored the historic brick walls, installed high-end millwork and trim, installed ceramic tile flooring, and installed new commercial kitchenettes in each unit. With an efficient line of communication, a focus on innovation and execution to budget, this project created a new long-term commercial revenue stream for this client.
